sunblockI know everybody’s excited to go out and hit the beach especially for people who waited patiently all winter just to get some tan and catch some waves. But before we all hit the sea, let us remember some helpful stuffs with regards to ultraviolet rays and how we can avoid skin diseases. We don’t want to get skin cancer right?

For starters, do not ever forget to bring sunblock lotions. Contrary to popular belief that by applying a reasonable amount of sunblock lotion on your skin will do the trick. It is wrong though. Everyone should apply sunscreen 15 or 30 minutes before going outside and reapplying at least every two hours. Choose a higher SPF that’ll suit your kind of skin. Wear sunglasses and hat. Protect your hair as saltwater and chlorine can cause damage to our hair. Drink a lot of liquids to avoid hydration and to replenish your energy from water activities. With these tips in hand at least you wouldn’t have a bad case of sunburn or worse, melanoma.
