Mountain Biking In Slovenia

mountainbikeSlovenia may be known among other things but I shall remember it always as a biking-friendly country. From gentle, short and easy trails between Ratece and Gozd Martuljek to the adrenaline hungry Elan Bike Park with jumps tables and other obstacles for free riding, bikers would be amazed with Slovenia. Though they might not be as popular as Italy and France when it comes to biking, this country is full of beautiful sceneries that everyone will enjoy, whether pedaling across Julian Alps or the Adriatic coastline and limestone caves.

Julian Alps is a tedious 232-kilometre cycle trip that can be completed in five separate stages or five separate days. Some riders who joins biking tours and competition can practice in here while admiring the rolling hills and wooden farmhouses that one passes while on the road. Local mountain bikers have visibly cleared many old paths and have put together new routes for bikers to enjoy and experience.
